Senior LEED Compliance Engineer

This critical role will be responsible for representing KEO in communications with the client, site engineers and contractors on assigned project. Paramount to success within this varied role will include; • Spearheading LEED Certification during the construction stage. • Working directly on project deliverables including technical reports, project consultant team document reviews, on-site training, bi-weekly and monthly reports. • Ensuring existing quality control, quality assurance, submittal protocols and document flow procedures are followed and successfully implemented. • Providing construction phase oversight, including but not limited to, ensuring the client's sustainability and LEED goals and objectives are properly executed onsite by phase team contractors, subcontractors, and LEED consultants. • Maintaining excellent working relationships with the client team, including all project phase Design Managers, Executive Architects, LEED Consultants and associated project consultants. • Managing and facilitating delivery efforts to client expectations and ensuring client satisfaction during and after the delivery of a scope of work and deliverables, making any requested alterations in an established timeframe. Requirements To be successful in this dynamic opportunity, we envision that you will bring a minimum of 15 years' experience in LEED certification for airport or building projects, partnered with a Bachelor's degree in Engineer or Architecture. LEED AP BD + C qualification and an experience in implementing LEED certification during construction stage, through final certification are required. Job Description: Kuwait Airways (KU: IATA, KAC: ICAO) is the official national carrier of the State of Kuwait. Established in 1953 as a private company, the airline was initially 50 per cent owned by the Kuwaiti government. In 1962, the government assumed 100 per cent ownership, making it the longest serving, official state carrier operating from the Arabian Gulf Region. Kuwait Airways employs over 4,800 people, and the head office is in the heart of Kuwait City, close to Kuwait International Airport (KWI). The airline currently provides regular scheduled services to 36 international destinations in the Far East, Middle East, Europe and North America. Kuwait Airways’ fleet of 23 aircraft currently consists of 5 x B777-300ER, 7 x A320-200CEO (completed delivery Q2 2015), 5 x A330s (completed delivery Q4 2015), 4 x A340-300, 8 x Boeing 777-200, and 1 x Boeing 747-400. Kuwait Airways will boast the youngest commercial airline fleet in the world. In this role, you will be responsible for carrying our various Customer Relations research activities such as receiving and registering all complaints and comments. You will also be responsible for assisting in reviewing and investigating complaints as directed, including preparing correspondence/ statistics as required and maintain relevant records and preparing a wide variety of reports, charts, graphs, etc. Your tasks include but will not be limited to: Participating in the registration and processing of complaints and comments received via comment cards or other means of communication. Assisting in the sorting and reviewing of complaints and referring complaints to supervisor or respective units following procedures and directions. Initiating investigations of complaints by informing respective sections and following up action taken until satisfactory resolution is reached before cases are considered closed. You are to keep your supervisor on progress. Assisting supervisor in the process of resolving major complaints as directed.
