The eWAN Cybersecurity Technologist will interface with Information Technology (IT) and GSS partners to ensure operational compliance with approved security documentation and applicable regulations. This position serves as a eWAN Information System Security Officer (ISSO). eWAN ISSOs work as a cross-business team to perform a variety of tasks including records management, system assessment and authorization, coordination of program-level ISSOs, etc. This individual also provides security oversight of the Northeast Datacenter (NEDC), a critical eWAN resource at the Tewksbury, MA facility. Other tasks include alignment of candidate information systems scheduled for eWAN migration, evaluation of new technologies presented for eWAN adoption, and delivery of user/stakeholder educational content. This position combines job duties historically separated between ISSOs and Information System Security Managers (ISSMs); candidates for this position must have a comprehensive understanding of both job roles and an ability to balance competing priorities in a deadline-driven environment without appreciable direction. This position reports to the Tewksbury ISSO Manager with matrixed reporting to the IDS ECC Cybersecurity Lead. This position requires an active US SECRET Security clearance. Except in rare circumstances, only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance. This position is ERIP eligible.
