Key Job Responsibilities As a Government Relations Officer you are responsible in Pro- actively handling Public Relations, Immigration and Labour activities of human resources in accordance to the local law. This will include the following however not limited to the same. Renewal and Issuance of new Employment Visas and processing of all the related documents till it is stamped in the passport. (i.e Medical, Emirates ID, Exit and visa change etc.) Change in Sponsorship or Visa Transfers Prepares the documents for Trade License Renewal prior in advance Apply DJ Permits or any other permission as required Controlling In & Out of Custody of Passports and generate weekly reports to follow up with employees. Updating & maintaining employee information in the System Checking and following up the status of the previous transactions submitted to government offices Provides latest information and innovation gathered from the government offices that might help finish the transactions fast and with ease Responsible for coordinating the arrival of new recruits (ticket, visa) and receiving them from the Airport. Responsible for coordinating the departure of the staff members who have resigned and ensuring all passport and visa formalities are completed in compliance with UAE labour laws and Millennium Hotel HR Policy.
